How it works:

  • Select your size and pay a 50% deposit by clicking here. More info on sizes and prices can be found here

  • Send several of your favourite photos of your pet to amy@amywebberart.com - I will help you select which one(s) will work best for a painting. Click here for photo tips for the best results

We will then both sign a contract stating that I will make the painting and you will pay the rest upon completion.

I will also ask if you have a preference for background colour - neutrals? Something bright? I try to choose something that compliments the pet’s fur, eye colour, etc

  • Paintings are completed in the order that payment and photos are received and contract is signed. Please allow up to 3 months from the date that you sign the contract. I aim to complete them before this, but I work in layers that need to dry in between, and need time for touch ups, varnish, etc.

If you do have a special date in mind (e.g., this is a birthday gift for someone), please let me know and I will try to accommodate

  • I will provide a link to pay the remaining balance, plus shipping charges if required. Free local pickup is available.

Once final payment is received, you will receive your portrait. And I really hope you love it :)

Photo tips

For best results, make sure the photos you send are:

  • Good quality/high resolution - avoid anything blurry, grainy, or pixelated. Do not compress the image size in email; if you need to compress them, choose the largest size possible.

  • Well lit - daylight is best. Avoid anything taken in low light, as they can be grainy and have distorted colours.

  • Unedited/unfiltered - unless edited by a professional, please send the original photo without alterations. I will make edits to optimize it for a painting reference.

Send several photos so I can help choose which one(s) will translate best to a painting. If you have some absolute favourites among the bunch, let me know!

Photos can be emailed to amy@amywebberart.com
